Clevios™ conductive polymers are essential for low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) electrolytic capacitors. With its high conductivity and outstanding temperature stability the conductive polymer poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene), also known as PEDOT, is widely used in the capacitor industry to manufacture polymer-type tantalum, niobium, and aluminum capacitors.
In modern capacitors Clevios™ has replaced manganese dioxide and liquid electrolyte, resulting in more stable and efficient elements in electronics. It is used in a wide range of devices and applications, ranging from electric vehicles, mobile phones, notebooks, personal computers, servers, and many more – creating the new electronics industry standard.
